Deadwood Boot #701

The Deadwood:

August 23,1873

The Cathedral Lariat style of this stitch pattern was preferred by the northern cattleman for its good looks and performance. The cowboys of Cheyenne, Billings, Deadwood and other northern ranches had many more rivers to deal with. A good tall boot enabled the northern cowboys to ford most of the streams and rivers without having water pour into there boots. The Deadwood boot has a distinctive-looking leather full of character. This brown oiled, tan leather is altogether different to any thing out there at this time. You now can have the look of the 1800s-made boots
