The
goal of Buffalo Runner
Boot Company. is to produce the
highest quality American made boot that the working cowboy can afford. We
do not claim to be the most inexpensive, or even the highest priced boot,
but we do claim to possibly the finest historically correct American made
boot out there.
The
design of our boots is right out of the 1840s to 1920s style of a
one-piece vamp construction. I am committed to continuing the vision of a
high quality reproduction boot that the Halter family started back in
the 1980s and looking to the future. We are looking forward to bringing
back some of the old designs and introducing new reproduction boots of the
Coffeyville
style this year.
To
find our boots you only have to go to the western movies. We were the main
supplier of boots for the movie
Tombstone
and as recently as 2011, western movie production companies have used our
reproduction boots for there go-to source. There is no finer compliment
than to see our customers wearing the boots we made.
Now
about me. I have been an historical re-enactor for the last 25 years and a
good 15 years of that time as a member of the First North Carolina Mounted
Cavalry Company D. When I was not a re-enactor I was a volunteer with the
National Park Service as a Civil War battle field interpreter. I
volunteered at the
Manassas
. Antietam and
Gettysburg
National
Battlefield
Parks
over the years. Our little mounted cowboy association was The Osceola
Cattle Company. We would run a Buffalo Bill Wild West Show with our
cowboys at the ranch.
The
bottom line is whether you are a Sass member, Civil War re-enactor, or a
movie company we have been there. Let us get the right fit the first time
for you. A boot that not made right will rip and tear your leg up; one
that works well will be your best friend. |
